First Steps on Christmas Night
I still have more pictures to post from Christmas. Our holiday festivities lasted a total of seven days!!! I wanted to give an update on Cooper first. He turned 11 months old on January 5th. He took his first steps on Christmas night, walking to mom. We were at MaMa and PaPa's house and everyone was very excited. He takes a few steps every now and then but resorts to crawling since he is much faster at that. He has had a double ear infection for over 2 1/2 weeks now so I think when the infection finally clears he will probably take off with the walking. He has added the words, "milk" and "hat" to his vocabulary. He just recently attempted to say "momma," and constantly says "dada!" He loves hats and anyone that is wearing one! He loves to put a hat on Walker's head and then laughs hysterically before placing the hat on his own head. We visited dad at Mountain Brook today, and all Cooper wanted to do was play with all of the hats in dad's office. He just began pointing to things this week, and will point to things that he wants us to get for him. Walker had two weeks off for Christmas and went back to work this week. Cooper has been wandering around the house all week looking for him and screaming "DADA??DADA!!!" Mom came over the other day and Cooper looked at her and said, "Dada?" Mom thought he was asking for Walker so we took him upstairs to see Walker. Cooper kept looking around the kitchen and towards the front door. Then we figured out he was looking for dad "PaPi." We asked him if he wanted PaPi and he got really excited. Then he was dissapointed when we told him PaPi wasn't there.
