Granny

My beautiful Granny passed away this morning. She has been fighting for 5 weeks now. The doctors never thought she would live this long. We are so thankful for all of the wonderful memories we have of her. She was an amazing woman. She will be greatly missed by her five daughters, son-in-laws, nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. I had a very emotional visit with her today to tell her goodbye. It is hard to believe that I won't be able to pick up the phone and call her anymore. Cooper doesn't quite understand what is going on, but he knows that Granny has gone to live with Jesus. When I was crying this morning, he looked at me and said, "Love you, Mommy." Cooper loves his Granny, and I know he will miss her. He talks about her everyday. He was very blessed to have had two wonderful years with his greatgrandmother. Keep our family in your prayers. It will be a difficult transition for my Aunt Lorie who has special needs. Lorie was able to tell Granny goodbye two days ago. Lorie will be living with my Aunt Pam now.
