We dedicated Olivia Kate on Mother's Day. The dedication service was great. It was a little different from Cooper's dedication. Our new church has three services and dedication Sunday several times a year. There were probably 15 children dedicated in the 10:45 service with Olivia Kate, and more in the other two services. Cooper was able to participate with us, which was a little challenging. He knew that GiGi, PaPi, and MiMi were somewhere in the church and he kept wanting to find them the whole time we were on stage. Towards the end of the dedication, he pulled his sunglasses out of his pocket and put them on-I'm sure we got a few laughs out of that one. And at one point he almost ran off the stage which scared our pastor! Other than that, things went smoothly. Olivia Kate sucked her pacifier and slept during the whole thing.

We all enjoyed Mimi coming to visit for the weekend.

This Mother's Day was especially hard on my mom. This was her first Mother's Day without her mom. It has been a tough few months for all of us as we grieve the death of my Granny. Cooper tells us all the time that Granny is in Heaven with Jesus. He doesn't quite understand, but he does know she is gone and he really misses her a lot.

This isn't a great picture of the gown, but this is the same gown that Cooper wore when he was dedicated. My MaMa made it for him.
