We have had a wonderful two weeks. Walker graduated from Jacksonville State with his Educational Specialist Degree on May 1, 2009. The graduation ceremony was held at the Paul Snow Stadium at Jacksonville State University. It was pretty hot and it was the largest graduating class in the history of the University. Mom and Dad helped me watch Cooper for most of the ceremony. After graduation we all celebrated at The Top of The River.

I graduated from the University of Montevallo on May 9, 2009 with my Master of Education Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. This was a very exciting day as it seems I have been in school forever! The graduation ceremony was held on the President's lawn (Flowerhill Lawn). Walker's parents came in town for my graduation as well. Everyone took turns chasing Cooper across the huge lawn during the graduation ceremony. I know he is starting to wonder why daddy and mommy have been wearing strange black hats and robes for the past two weekends. He loves wearing our caps and playing with the tassels.
