It's a girl!!!

We found out on Tuesday that we are having a girl. We were very shocked, because we were told after an ultrasound at 11 weeks that it was most likely a boy. I have felt the same throughout this pregnancy, so I was sure it was a boy. We are very excited. We have had a boy and girl name picked out from the beginning. Cooper was determined that I was having a girl and we were trying to prepare him for a boy. I guess we should have listened to him. He has been saying that I was having a girl for months. We had told him both names: Parker Ward and Olivia Kate and he only called the baby "Tate" for Kate. We kept trying to tell him that it was probably going to be Parker. Now, he is probably so confused, because we are telling him that it is Olivia Kate! When I told him I was having a girl and that "Tate" was in mommy's tummy, he just said, no. I guess he was thinking, "Why are you telling me this now?" We took him to pick out a new dress for the baby. I gave him a choice between two dresses. He looked at the pink one and said, "Pink!" That is the one we got, although I liked the white one better. :) It still hasn't sunk in yet that we are having a little girl. Livy Kate will be here around February 28th.
